Immediate openings for: 

-Full-Time Customer Service (Pharmacy, 36-40 hrs/wk

-Part-Time Customer Service (May include Pharmacy, Up to 20 hrs/wk)

Wage dependent on experience and qualifications. 

Job Overview:

A Customer Service Clerk may be the first and only point of contact a customer may have.  This job requires friendly, caring and accurate service.  General job functions include using the point of sale system (cash register) to ring up customer sales, providing general answers and direction for products and services that the pharmacy offers and making sure the store is neat and orderly. 

 

Requirements:

  • Retail experience preferred, not required

  • Attention to detail and ability to multi-task in a busy retail environment required

  • Friendly and helpful personality and team attitude a must

  • Ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends

Job Tasks (for all employees):

  • Provide customers friendly assistance to their questions. If you don’t know the answer, get the answer from an experienced co-worker or manager.

  • Make sure that the shelves are organized, clean and neat, counters are free from items that are not supposed to be there

  • Answer the phone in a courteous and professional manner

  • Handle customer complaints and compliments graciously. If you are unable to address an issue, get assistance from a manager

  • Be able to introduce and explain to customers the programs the pharmacy offers (example: Chet’s Choice Rewards, Sync, etc)

  • Protect the security of company and customer information. Shred private information, shred items to be disposed that have company or customer information, be aware of, identity theft and handle according to company policy

 

Specific for All Customer Relations Clerks:

  • Perform cash register tasks in an accurate and timely manner.

  • Count change back to customer accurately and in the prescribed manner

  • Assist customers with self-service machines when necessary (Kodak Picture Maker, photo copier)

  • Maintain store entrances and area around checkout area

  • Merchandise any orders received on a daily basis.

  • Organize and maintain cleanliness of all merchandise shelves

  • Provide customers fax services

  • Purchase, track and update inventory records for office, defective and promotions items purchased from the store floor.

  • Process daily deliveries and mailers when necessary

 

Specific for Pharmacy Customer Relations Clerks:

  • Assist with processing a customer prescriptions, working directly with technicians and pharmacists

  • Complete customer sales transactions for prescription purchases.

  • Prepare required customer insurance billing paperwork accurately and completely

  • Complete customer Thank You notes

  • Maintain daily prescription files

  • Assist pharmacists with patient recommendations

  • Support and encourage all pharmacy programs (example: Immunizations, SyncRx
